Hi, I’m Louella and I help my clients with pain, stiffness, and inflammation. Most of my clients have been ignored and abandoned by Western medicine. They have already tried living with the pain, doctors, pain medications, steroids, and chiropractors with little to no relief. I facilitate them moving through and relieving their pain so they can live their lives more freely.
You Are a Whole Person
I graduated from the Sarasota School of Massage Therapy where I learned to treat the client as a whole person, not just a list of symptoms. I trained with some of the best massage therapists in the country who focused on the integration of skills, knowledge, intuition, and mindfulness to help relieve a client’s pain. I came into Massage Therapy through energy work. I took a class on Integrated Energy Therapy that inspired me to go to Massage School. With this foundation in Integrated Energy Therapy, I found it very useful to combine this with massage to help relieve pain, especially with inflammation. My approach is all about listening to the body and incorporating all of the tools in my toolbox.
My main focus is creating a safe place for my clients to feel heard and to heal. So many have endured trauma trying to find relief, and I want to make sure that isn’t the case with me. I use energy work and my Trauma Awareness Training to connect with my client and determine what is going on in their body to soothe and regulate their pain.
My Professional Background
I was a hairdresser for 30 years helping people feel beautiful. One day, a friend of mine was teaching Integrated Energy Therapy and I thought that sounded fascinating. During the second level, I had a vision of doing massage, something I thought I would never do. I felt this peace wash over me and three days later I signed up for massage therapy school and it was the best decision I’ve ever made.
